ROOTED IN NATURE · RISING IN PURPOSE

I Am Afreeka is an invitation to see Africa through a wider, richer lens.

A connected world shaped by culture, wellbeing, travel and the people who give them meaning. We honour where we come from while creating new ways to encounter what Africa is—and what it can become.

A living bridge

Rooted in what was.
Alive to what is next.

We see heritage not as something held behind glass, but as a living force—carried through the way we gather, nourish, travel, create and belong.

Founder’s vision

Why I created I Am Afreeka.

I AM AFREEKA is an expression of my lifelong journey of spiritual growth, healing, conscious living and connection to Africa.

For me, being free means having the freedom to choose—to be conscious of what we eat, what we buy, where we stay, how we travel and the impact our choices have on people and the Earth.

Over the years, I’ve discovered products, services, experiences and ways of living that align with these values, but finding them often takes time, research and discernment.

I created I AM AFREEKA to share what I have discovered and make conscious choices easier for others to find.

It’s not about perfection. It’s about awareness, intention and choosing better where we can—while honouring ourselves, our communities, Mother Earth and the gifts that God has provided.

I AM AFREEKA is my lifestyle, my philosophy and an invitation to explore a more conscious way of living.

In Shatkhia’s voice

A reflection on love and purpose.

“God needs you in order to come into the world. Fulfilling God’s need is the highest act of love, and only through your love for God can you fulfil your love for others. Become the love of God in the world for the protection of the world.”
